The last Performance Workshop(TPW) in February 2010 was a huge success! Due to the huge demand from those who attended and those who missed out, we're doing it again! This time the courses will be longer, the straight-aways faster and the amount of seat time even more ridiculous. Both the DRIFT and GRIP courses will be completely different for this event.
Offering drivers an alternative to Autocross and Track Days, TPW will consist of multiple courses professionally designed to push you and your car to the limits within a safe and controlled environment. Open to drivers of all levels, courses will be designed to help novice drivers learn basic car dynamics and at the same time challenge even the most seasoned track veteran.
To encourage a learning environment, professional instructors will be on hand to offer ride-alongs, performance driving tips as well as answer technical questions about driving or racing. All of your instructors will have backgrounds in Grand-Am, ALMS, TV/Film stunt driving and other forms of high performance driving.
The Performance Workshop is an all-inclusive event. With registration, participants will receive:

The night before the event there will be a pre-event drivers meeting held at Tampa Bay Grand Prix(TBGP). TBGP is a new premium-level indoor karting facility located 15 minutes from Tropicana Field in St Petersburg, FL. This is not a mandatory event, but will be a great opportunity for instructors and drivers to meet each other and take on some friendly racing action before the main event. Snacks & beverages will be provided.
All registered drivers will receive one free race for the night and can purchase more as desired.
Registration Information
Registration is now open! Drivers who register in the month of March will be able to take advantage of the first event price of $175. Registration as of April 1st through the day of the event will now be $199. Why the $24 price increase? We added more awesomeness to the event of course. This time there will be more formal classroom instruction for novice drivers or those needing a little refresh, a large pro spec LED timing display board and a few more new surprises...
